Pricing art on avatar sites is difficult because the RLC equivalency is usually a lot less than it would be from doing straight commissions, however there are potentially more people interested in buying so it's a trade off. My advice would be to consider how long it takes you to complete a drawing and what kind of compensation would make it worthwhile for you to spend that time on it. Aside from that it's just a matter of putting it out there and seeing if anyone bites.
