Cloudy is just sad.

@Totalanimefan: I agree. The birds seem different when it's foggy.

@Totalanimefan: I don't know if I have the knowledge to explain it. I just observe the birds, y'know? they seem to make like, different noises depending on the weather or time. and seeing different birds only when it snows/rains.

@Shark: I should pay attention and see if I can notice anything. It’s not often foggy here but I’ll keep a look out.

@Totalanimefan: yeah! There's lots to see about birds :)

today the hummingbirds were making very loud whistling noises. I guess they're mating?

@Shark: OMG I love hummingbirds! They are so cute and beautiful. I saw a pair of mourning doves yesterday in my backyard and I thought the same thing, is it time to mate so the babies are born in the spring? Or is it too soon?

@Totalanimefan: aww. I never see doves anymore! Only pigeons. It's probably close to time? let's see.... google says for anna's hummingbirds, it starts in december and lasts until june. o: And then for mourning doves it's a lot later, april - july.

@Shark: I never thought that it would be so different for different birds but that makes sense. Probably depends on the climate and what kind of bird it is.
I'm going to go for another walk since it's still false spring atm. I'll let you know what birds I see. :)

@Totalanimefan: yeah it's cool ^^ I always wonder where the nests are around here. I've never seen any. well, except the ones in the apartment buildings under the roofs. xD oof. When the swallows start hatching, it gets MESSY.

@Shark: I can see the leftovers of last year's nests because there are no leaves on the tress. I walked down to the river and I saw some seagulls and then on the way back I saw some sparrows in a bush. They seem more active today. I guess because it's warmer?

@Totalanimefan: but it's also cool to hear like.. the sounds of the sea without being near it. oh wow, big guy in a bird bath! that's a sight to see.

@Shark: Oops. I meant that the sparrow was in the birdbath lol
I don't live near the sea, but I do live near the river and that's where I saw the seagulls.

@Shark: Is the river really wide near you, or is a smaller?
Where I am the river turns from a smaller one to one that's like a few miles wide. It kinda feels like an inlet or something more like near an ocean.
