@SnakeWeaver: my cat Princess has a small wound on her paw, filled with pus. the wound is clean but i'd like a vet to take a look at it, probably disinfect it and drain it.
probably bandage and a cone. which might be overdoing it but i'd like her to get better asap even if it's something minor.

@SnakeWeaver: For other people I know it is, for me it's just a tank and thin fabric pants. XD I don't like being like that at all, but sometimes it just gets too hot for my prudish preferences.
@SnakeWeaver: i thought about doing it myself, since it's a very small pus abscess. but it's better for a professional to do it.i'm just hoping since it should be a minor procedure that it's not too expensive.
my parents tho. were like 'it should be okay, animals get hurt in the wild, and they get better, we can't afford a vet'

@SnakeWeaver: cats are cats i guess. but there is a big difference between a wild or outdoor cat vs a indoor cat and how they recover from similar wounds. wild cats would probably loose the paw >.>;;;; which is an exaggeration but also not.

@Zuzu: Wild cats would technically loose their paw, as they have no way to cure an infection. Badly wounded lions are often abandoned from the pride, as they are expected to die.

@SnakeWeaver: Some people like it, I do not. Even though I was born and bred Floridian, I can't stand the heat bs.
@SnakeWeaver: tis a good thing Princess is not a wild cat then. o .oi should get to bed now, i'll give my brother a call in the morning to see how Princess is doing,
i asked him to keep an eye on her and if the wound changes, gets bigger, turns colour or she gets sick. to let me know and we'd have to go to a vet asap.
