@Queen of Trash: Yeah probs. But like a lot of people live in that area. I like it there. I would live there in I could.

@Queen of Trash: Yes it is. It's not nearly as expensive as where I live though. I have a 1-bedroom condo that I bought in Dec. It was 600k. That is about the cheapest you can get here. It's only 715sqft and it was built in '85
@Totalanimefan: Different areas here are like that and others are cheaper. Rent here is insane.
@Queen of Trash: Yes. It's still expensive to live there no doubt about it. It's just that I live in the most expensive part of the US, so everything else would be cheaper for me. ^^;
@Totalanimefan: it's been impossible right now to find a place we can afford that's available. It's starting to stress me out a little tbh.
@Queen of Trash: I'm sorry to hear that. I used to be really poor when I lived in Florida. One time I paid my rent and literally I had $.16 left in my bank account.
@Totalanimefan: right now our parents are paying our mortgage. We're looking for a cheaper place to live.
@Queen of Trash: Yeah I remember you saying that in another thread. Soon it will be better though!

@Queen of Trash: Have you looked at cities you want to live in, or would you move back in with parents?
@Totalanimefan: our parents don't have the room for us. There has to be an apartment around here free. There's affordable dwelling units and income based units, those are the ones we're looking at.
@Queen of Trash: Yeah I remember you saying that you guys were on the waitlist. How long is the wait?
@Totalanimefan: depends when people move out. They only have a certain number of apartments set aside for the ADU and income based programs, so one has to open up.
@Queen of Trash: I see. And these are better than finding an ADU to rent from off of CL?
@Totalanimefan: yeah, they're better than the ones you'll find there. I gave it a look just to see.
@Queen of Trash: I did look. Would you guys be able to do a 1-bedroom or no?
@Totalanimefan: We might have to do a 1 bedroom, even with the ADUs we weren't finding 2 bedrooms that were in our range.
