@vengeance: yeah, I avoid the box dye, it's just not great for your hair for multiple reasons.
@vengeance: that's not good. Definitely don't use that again.
@vengeance: I use a brand called Arctic Fox. It's basically conditioner that deposits color. They also donate 15% of their profits to animal charities.
@vengeance: it also smells really, really good.
@Queen of Trash: That is always good. My current shampoo has a smell I don't like. Can't wait till it's empty so I can buy something else.

@vengeance: Yeah, especially with direct dyes, they fade quickly without it.
@Queen of Trash: A while back I bought some semi permanent dye. It was a dark teal colour. Well it wasn't semi permanent :/ It stained my hair.
@vengeance: Yeah any rainbow color is a direct dye, which is basically a stain.
@vengeance: Yeah, any rainbow color will stain. You won't get it out without bleaching and sometimes a lot of it. It's why when I do my colors I follow color theory and fade out as much as I can.

@vengeance: ah, I didn't know they did teal or anything now. When I did use boxed dye I always used Feria.
