My favorite park is Assiniboine park. It just along the river here in the city.
I think one of my favorite features are the paths in the wooded areas. Mostly for biking, but there are hiking paths too, and information about the different plant life along the trails as well.

So basically, lot's of trees, lot's of space. Duck ponds, places to sit.
There's a flower garden at this park too, it's really pretty!
