Forums General Chit-Chat I most likely need a new phone

Donator Posted 5 years ago ( 2019/03/20 23:07:43 )

I am so careful with my phone. Yet it fell out of my pocket of my jacket into the water :/ my screen won't turn on most of the time.

Wait about two days. If it still doesn't work you will probably have to get a new one.

I will definitely wait. But he also keeps saying I have something plugged into my earphone jacket. It will go away when I restart but then reapeers later on.

How old is the phone? And like Xaria said, you need to put it in rice immediately after getting wet, then there's a chance that it'll still work o:

Rice is good, yes.
[joke]It summons the Asians who repair your phone overnight.[/joke]
Even cheap rice is good, rice likes to absorb water. Mother accidentally spilled a cup of water on my phone once and rice overnight recovered it. Two months later she put it through the washer and killed it for good.

I was not at home when it happened guys. I was in another city.

I am on my phone now. It somehow turned on again. But I am not sure how long it will last.

Oh yeah RIP I lost my last phone to an unfortunate dunk in some water, and by the point I recovered it it was too gone for rice. My sympathies.
