"Right..." he mumbled.

"I'll get to grilling up that, then." he told him.

"The other fillet's done, so... if you want to eat it, go ahead. I'll do this one up." he went on, gesturing to the other piece of cooked fish.

Why can't I just be

"You okay...?" he asked a little worried.

"It's just that by the time I finish cooking the trout, the other fillet will be kinda cold." he told him.

"So go ahead and eat it while it's still hot." he reasoned.

"You'll just be waiting for a bit longer for a full meal, is all." he finished.

With that, he set to prepping the trout that Eke had caught.

He then proceeded to serve Eke a heaping plate of food, handing it to him.

"Here you go." he said.

"Thanks" he said taking ti and taking a large bite.

He started laughing looking at the food.

"And to think once upon a time i sustained myself on sweets...i dont think i have a taste for sweet as much anymore..." he said smiling.

"Not like what i used to eat." he said.

He continued to scarf down his food before taking a breath halfway through the plate.

He laughed having been successful in getting under Ryker's skin.

"Heh im never gonna let you that THAT one down" he said ginning before looking at the sky.

He closed his eyes feeling the breeze. "Outside...no tent...no rv just...the sky...liek we used to" he said wistfully.
