Surely we have all had at least one, eh?
Turns out my sister's previous middle school Language Arts teacher was arrested for exchanging sexual in nature emails with a 13 year old student.

Yikes.

Have any teachers who were unreasonable jerks or ended up in the news?

Yeh my English teacher. We always had to be quiet during class. One time I forgot to bring my pens so I asked the person next to me for a pen and then he got really angry.

My old physics teacher. He would ramble on about Marvel,
and would never teach (sounds good right? Not if you were in
his AP class.) Whenever we'd ask him a question
that he did not know the answer to, he would derail or
answer very vaguely. I've always wondered how he even
became an AP physics teacher because he couldn't even explain basic
physics.

Not to mention, with that kind of teaching, he said he was
scared for the future of engineering, which I just found ironic
coming from him.

To add to that, he said absolutely hated giving perfect scores,
so he would find any stupid reason to give someone points off.

I grew up in a place where corporal punishment was a thing so the worst teachers were the ones with the strongest arms and the best technique.

My freshman history teacher called me a waste of a desk once. Then proceeded to throw my lunch in the garbage. She did s____ like that to the kids that weren’t her favorites, but hated me particularly for some reason.

So I left.

And never went back to that class. XD

The part that really burns me up is that THEY STILL KEEP HER THERE

My niece had the same teacher. And also said she was a piece of— .. work. But at least my neice was apparently likeable. That and the teacher didn’t know whose niece she was lololol.
