You get volts by posting, trading with users (items or art), or sometimes from the daily chance.

Items with multiple poses will allow you to equip two poses at once, so if you want to equip a whole set, you only need half the amount of items.

And if you'd like to see what items we have on voltra, that aren't common shop items, just check out the Voltra Item Museum
Our event items are the best I've seen from different avatar sites, imo.

@venus: Welcome to Voltra!! Hmm my advice.. Charities might be a good place to start chatting. They are very generous and might give you some cool items for free. Event forum threads are really good to post in because they give you tons more event currency which can be traded for limited time items in the Joyful Jamboree and Reduce, Reuse and Reinventions shops.
