@Saeyra: Admittedly it wasn't going to be a cliff hanger, I had more typed out but my husband read it and said it was too close to the Disney version of when Peter met Wendy so I had to delete the entire six extra paragraphs and am now re-working the scene lol. I hope you liked it!

In the movie she teaches him what mothers are and why children need them and I found that moment really touching. She is so important to the Peter story I can't wait to see how they play off each other!

@WhatAJoy: I like Nib, she seems so cool. I wonder if Peter called it the Mermaid Lagoon just for Wendy's sake since the merfolk are normally called Amazi.
@Saeyra: I like her too, she's my favorite. Originally I was going to make her bigendered or trans but considering the era I decided to just hint at it. As for Mermaid Lagoon, that's just the name he uses for it. They're still mermaids even though their people are known to the island as Amazi.
I am enjoying this series so far! A couple of cliffhangers but not too many to drive you crazy haha thanks for keeping this updated!
@Saeyra: I am so glad you are enjoying it. Book two will be even better as Peter becomes Captain Hook in that one, and you figure out what the crocodile from Wendy's dream meant and so on. The first book isn't going to be very big but the rest are going to be great.

@Saeyra: Honestly that works lol! Makes me glad that the book has held up without the description lmbo. But yeah, that's the point to the story. This is how Peter grows up to become the great Captain Hook, why he becomes Hook, what drives him in that direction. It's an eight part series I've been working on for over 15 years. I even have a fan who's doing the book cover art.
It's going to be a black cover with Building Neverland in silver at the top and in the middle Peter floating above water and in his reflection opposite him upside down is him older as Captain Hook :D
