Jaden had been looking and feeling on the antsy side ever since he'd been there. It wasn't that he was uncomfortable there, or scared of Racquel and Demitra, but... something was off, inside him.
However, when Racquel asked her question, he looked a bit confused.

In truth, he'd been trying to leave for a number of nights prior, but he always stopped when he got to the front door, and then ended up sitting down on one of their couches to think it over, which ended in him being asleep.

As he approached, he saw the girl that had brought him there, Demitra, but she had her chest bound, and was topless. Her hair was tied back as she continued to hack at the trunk of the tree.
As he neared, she stopped and lightly pushed it, causing it to fall.
"Whew. Ok. Now to section this one..." she muttered before making her way to the branchy end to clean them off.

"But... would it be better to move the trees towards the house, and then section them there?" he asked.
"Just so they can be moved, and sectioned at a more... leisurely pace, I guess?" he reasoned.
"If not, that's all right. I can move the smaller ones." he told her. "Otherwise, I can move this big one closer to the house, and then work on the smaller ones."

With that, he made his way to the end of it, took a number of steps inward, and readied himself. He then crouched down, lifted the tree, and hefted it onto his shoulder.
"HUP!" he grunted, balancing himself.
"And... here we go." he said, before moving forward, dragging the tree along.
"This work?" he asked Demitra.

"But all good! Get going. I'll work on the next!" She then added before picking the axe up again and looking between the trees that were around her.

'I like feeling useful.' he thought. 'And this is a great way to use up all that energy I could feel welling up in my body.' he realized further.
He then dropped the tree where there was plenty of room, and nodded to himself.
"Now to get to the smaller ones, and place them in the started pile." he said, before starting to jog back to where Demitra was.
"Heh." he chuckled.

By the time that Jaden had returned, he'd found that Demitra had already put a good amount of damage to a tree It was something that she didn't show, she never showed anything akin to strength of that sort. At least not so far as Jaden had seen.
"Hey. Get the tree back there easily enough?" She asked as she noticed he'd returned.

And Demitra could tell that he wasn't being rude or condescending... or if he was, it was not on purpose. He was genuinely surprised and impressed.
"Yeah, I did." he told her.
