"Her son." Jaden responded.
"Jaden Sherwood, at your service." he said fully.
'..." Pierre was silent for a moment, before laughing heartily.
"Fair enough!" he exclaimed.
"And I just don't really want to be a hunter." Jaden said, more to his mother. "Whether this world knows and/or accepts it, dark things need to be done in the shadows to keep it running." he went on. "I feel I am capable of keeping this world moving, by doing what others can not, or WILL not." he explained.
"Bravo." Pierre responded, clapping.
"Couldn't have said it better, myself." he commented.

Lee just laughed lightly, quietly.
"Seems working in an official capacity is just a trait for your blood." She commented, mostly to Sydney, who shrugged.
"And I didn't even raise him for that. He chose it himself." the vampire commented.
"Anyhow, now? Now we need to get a mana sample from you and give you a bracelet - or ring, or pendant, your choice - that we can contact you through whenever you are needed." Sydney commented.

"I understand." he replied.
He then thought for a moment, considering his options.
"Hmmm..." he mumbled.
"A pendant might get in the way... a bracelet might be too obvious for stealth... I suppose a ring might be the best choice here." he reasoned.
"All righty then." Pierre responded.
"Let's get on that right now." he said.
"Sydney, will you be the one getting the sample?" he then asked the vampire.
"I understand." he replied.
He then thought for a moment, considering his options.
"Hmmm..." he mumbled.
"A pendant might get in the way... a bracelet might be too obvious for stealth... I suppose a ring might be the best choice here." he reasoned.

"Let's get on that right now." he said.

"I don't really want to inflict that much pain on him. Lee, if you would be so kind" She then said. The dryad nodded moments before there was a small flower in front of Jaden.
"Wooden tables are wonderful for you, aren't they?" Sydney asked with a laugh.
"Of course. It comes from the forest, meaning I can manipulate it as I wish." Lee answered before looking to Jaden.
"Now, if you would be so kind as to deposit some of your mana into that flower." She said. "Once you do that, we will have a sample to use."
"I don't really want to inflict that much pain on him. Lee, if you would be so kind" She then said. The dryad nodded moments before there was a small flower in front of Jaden.
"Wooden tables are wonderful for you, aren't they?" Sydney asked with a laugh.
"Of course. It comes from the forest, meaning I can manipulate it as I wish." Lee answered before looking to Jaden.

As he did so, he felt like his entire life essence was being drained from him, and even though it only took a few seconds, it was sheer terror and agony.
When the flower had had enough, he almost collapsed to the floor.
"Told you." Pierre said.

"Hope you enjoyed that block of today's greatest hits!" he said further.
"Now, as promised, I said I would be here with a very special guest!" he then went on, before turning to the other person that was in the DJ booth with him.
"Beloved celebrity magician extraordinaire, Desiree McCormick!" he announced.
"Welcome to the show, Desiree." he greeted her.
"Dramatics." he said.
"Uh-huh." he muttered.
"Anyway, let's be off." he said, as they all parted ways to do whatever they needed to do.

"So while I'm here, you usualyl have a mountain of questions that you work through. Do you happen to have any for today?" She asked, her voice curious.

"Tell me. What is my natural hair colour?" It was a simple question, but she was never seen in public without a dye job.
"That's right." She agreed with a nod.
"It's easy to do. But can you get the answer right?" She asked the air before laughing lightly.
"Let's see...... Hmmm, how about this. You answer my question correctly, you get the pass." She paused a moment.
"And this is something hat won't be easy." She paused a moment, thinking.

"I'm doing a paid show soon, yes, but in one week, I'm doing a free show for children in Harris Park." She stated with a smile.
"Everyone is invited, and welcome. The only requirement is that you have someone under the age of seven with you to get in"
"It's wonderful that someone did, as well." She added with a chuckle.
