I'm an avie site addict. I love all the different bases and items!
I also love trying to collect all the items and getting art of my avies. ^_^

@Siron: tbh thats also a good point, i love doing lil bits of acting "in character". Its different from regular forums, where you dont create a separate, visual dimension of your character and its a lot more accepted

I dont have much money to spare on exclusive items and im glad everything looks still affordable on here
The avatars take a little to get used to and for outfits i really like the idea of a "dream avatar" system where you can load every item available on site and create avatars like that

Yeah, joining sites really early on is a great way to get all of the great items on the site! ^_^
If not by donating, there's always the marketplace to purchase the items on. The people here are wonderful about prices!
Yeah, the dream avatar systems are very nice for just making avies. If it's a siite that has been open for years and I am just starting on it, or don't really put a lot of activity there, I will use it. If it's a site I am really active on, it feels like too much of a cheat for me to use.

This other site i came from has this directly in your inventory and you can click a button and buy the items you don't already have
Its really hard for me to visualise an avatar without actually using the items (and seeing them, cause otherwise idk what can even be done yknow)

Why did it close tho? There are a number of avatar sites who use similarly designed avatars but that doesnt rlly bother me tbh

@Kcalb: Exactly! 'Normal' community sites usually tend to feel way more personal where avatar sites tend to be a little bit more easy going and fun loving imo.
i mean, exceptions may exist, but that's my overall experience tbh
