"It's about time I took a break anyway." She added qwith a shrug.

As soon as Kit heard the word 'break', she was on her feet, and padded over towards Casey, nuzzling and rubbing against her.

There was silent for a moment before Ash got a reply.

With that, he went inside and quickly changed into cleaner clothes. Once that was done, he disappeared in a burst of black fire, appearing in a seemingly abandoned building.
He looked around, before making his way to a corner to wait.
"Any minute now." he mumbled, watching the spot where he'd just appeared.

He wasn't waiting long before Desiree arrived, looking properly dressed for the location. She didn't have much on, it was a very simple thrown together look, but it was a look that fit.
Along with that, she had a beret on, with her hair tied back as if it was spilling out from underneath the hat. IT was also not hot pink, as Ash was used to. She had her natural strawberry blonde hair at the moment.
"Hey." She said with a wave.
"Yo." Ash replied.
"This is a far different look than I'm used to." he commented.
"Guess you DO need to blend in, though." he then admitted.
"Anyway, you said there was a new place you wanted to go to, or something?" he then asked.

"All right then." she commented after a few seconds as they continued walking. She then turned down one of the smaller streets, and up to a door, which she opened and ushered him in.
"Here we are." She then said with a smile.
Inside looked to be a fancy, yet at home, style bistro place. It was something that was gorgeous to be in, and felt so high-end comfort too.

"Damn, this IS a nice place." he commented.
"Looks like it blends all parts of the atmospheric spectrum." he said further.
"A very hard thing to do." he continued.
"So do we seat ourselves, or does someone seat us?" he asked her.

As they walked, Ash was able to see the little furry creatures running around. They looked to be cats crossed with bunnies, and were overly adorable.
Ash raised an eyebrow as he noticed the creatures when he followed Desiree.
".....huh." he said.
"I.... huh." he muttered.
"These look... sort of familiar." he commented.
"But I can't place them." he said.
"If I've encountered them before, I can't recall them."

"I just know that they are adorable, and I've barely seen them anywhere outside of here. They're pretty popular here in France, as far as I know. People have them as pets in a few places." She added with a light chuckle as she sat down.
