I'd probably be fine if I still had some smoke, but I have none.
And I can't afford to keep getting it and I really don't like the idea of becoming that reliant on weed to sleep.
Because I've taken otc sleep aids.
I have two different ones.
They don't work.
@Anarchist Beauty: I feel like OTC sleep aids are hit or miss.
What about CBD? Would that help, or would you consider that as using weed to fall asleep?
Maybe tonight is the night? Fingers crossed for you. I know that the brain can only go so long without sleep. Have you been cutting out all caffeine as well?

I usually just get the vape cartridges of it, they last me waay longer than weed and I can actually smoke them in the house bc there's not smell.
Cos my grandparents don't approve... Or know... So stealth is key. lol
But ugh, I hope tonight is the night, too.
But I think another part of the problem is, I need a new mattress.
Current one is not cutting it anymore.
And also new pillows.
@Anarchist Beauty: Oh I see. Vape is good because you can't smell it. So is edibles.
Shitty mattress + not good pillows would keep me up for days. Any blankets or mattress topers you can lay on so it's not just you against the mattress?

I'm gonna talk to my grandfather about it tonight, see if we can possibly get me a new mattress.
And soon bc I can't keep doing this.
My insomnia spells can last weeks sometimes and if the bed is part of the problem (which it certainly is bc my bed is also my daily sitting spot) I need to get rid of it.
Because while I can't sleep, even just laying down in a comfy spot helps.
And right now I don't even have that so even trying to rest isn't restful and I just get crankier.
I've been browsing mattresses and stuff, and I found a springless in a box bed on sale, and my aunt and uncle really like their springless mattress.
Then I'm going to have to figure something out with my room so I can try to fit a small but comfy chair in here somewhere so my ass doesn't break down another bed before it's time.

Which is why I'm trying to find a good priced mattress online first.
