Vicki was completely silent for a moment before just looking to Ash directly, almost pointedly.

"Excuse me?" She asked.

"All right, next question. What the hell happened to the world?" She asked him. "Because this should have had more than enough charms and enchantments to keep it in good condition for another few millenia." She motioned to the room, the building, they were in.

Vicki was silent, taking this far better than was likely expected. Then again, she was being primed to take Hollie's position, and this was just further proof that she may actually be the perfect choice.

"Are there records? Any sort of written information about that?" She asked, her voice curious.

"Or is it shared purely by word of mouth?"

Vicki was silent for a moment, thinking about it.

"What... why?" She asked.

"What is it that they have to do with this world's current state?" Followed a few seconds later.

"My mute medic of a sister and the chemist. I mean, I get that Kiah could cause problems, but I always thought she had a good enough moral compass..."

"So... why are you locked up in here?" Vicki asked.

"And why am I?" followed.

"Also, any sort of information about what plagues this world would be lovely. If I'm stuck here for awhile, it'd be nice to know what is going to kill me."

"So... so this is how I die." Vicki said quietly.

"Well, I'm here to avoid that death. Let's see what I can do, what information I can gather to stop this from happening." She then said, obviously trying not to freak out here. She didn't know if she'd be able to keep herself together, but she had to try, her life vary well made depend on it.

"I can feel the mana from the future me... is that going to corrupt and erode me?" She asked. "If... if you happen to know."

"All right. Well, I suppose we should start with this.

"Any ideas as to what was planned for me to do upon my arrival?" She asked, ehr voice curious, and serious.

"That'd be a lovely starting point, if at all possible."

"... is... is our sister still alive...?" She asked, ehr voice quiet, curious, almost scared.

"For that matter... is anyone I would know alive, aside from you?"

Vicki was silent for a moment, sighing heavily.

"So, in short, basically everyone is gone." She said quietly.

"Can't... really can't say I'm surprised." she added as she grabbed the notes and started to flip through them.

"You have no idea what caused all this hell on the surface though, huh? That's unfortuante."

Vicki just sighed, heavily.

"So, translation, you have no idea what happened, there is speculation that it was Kiah or Alice, or both, that were involved, and I need to figure out the cause before I can even attempt to get home." She commented.

"All right then. At least I know what I'm looking for, now."
