Well that's good. I hope the weather stays "not that bad"!

@Wildfire: if by anime, you mean animation, then i'd probably say rick and morty. i hate the show, but it also has decent plotlines.
please ping me for the love of god.
@Pelontrix: I'm not sure Rick and Morty qualifies as anime... cartoon animation, yes... anime? Not so much, imo. It is an amusing show sometimes.
Good morning everyone. I hope everyone is doing well so far today! :3

Random Question -----------------> What celebrity would you want to have dinner with?
What celebrity would I have dinner with? Mmm..
I've spent time with a handful of celebrities, A-listers included. Passing convos.
Maybe... Reba? lol! I ran into her once and we didn't get to talk. She just seems like a person that would be fun to have conversations with.
I've never really thought about celebrities being people I'd want to get-to-know over dinner. Cx
How bout you?
★彡 Good late morning!
*takes and *
Hmm good question. I would say Harry Styles. I'm not really into of his music but he seems fun to hang around xD 彡★
@Koah:
@Purpsy:
Good mornafternoon to you both! I went out to run an errand or two before the rain got here - got everything done and got home just in time too (although it's just barely raining ATM)!
Celebrities... huh. Like you, Koah, I've run in to a few and chatted with them too, and I'm not one to get particularly "star struck" but if hanging out with one over dinner was something to do, I'd choose Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Sting, or maybe Gordon Ramsay (although I'm not sure I'd want to do dinner with him -lol!!) ... they all seem like they're "well balanced", interesting people who would be fun to just hang out with...

Although watching his kids' TikTok account, Ramsay seems like he's only sassy for tv.
I was friends with a famous chocolate chef for over a year before I ever saw him on tv. I hung out with him early mornings while he prepped his shop for the day.
But he opened a second location, he gave me a gift certificate to go. I did. and it was insanely fancy and they had a monitor showing his scenes on a worldwide chocolate show competition thing. I didn't even realize. lol! I do miss his company. He got really busy, had a divorce, his kid became a teen, etc. Life happens.
I have a handful of celebrity stories.
The only celebrity I ever met that I wanted to punch in the face was... the youngest Kardashian. I forget her name. -sticks tongue out- she is SO RUDE. And I didn't even know who she was at the time!
Anyway, I'm glad you got your errands done before the rain. :3
I cleaned/scrubbed my kitchen last night. So I woke up happy with a clean space to hang out in. C:
@Koah: lol... yeah... I can completely imagine wanting to punch any of that brood in the face, tbh.
I'm glad you have at least one clean space you feel comfortable hanging out in. I think that's what the garden is turning in to for me - it's the only thing that's really 100% "mine" right now and there are supposed to be random bits of debris in the corners ... and it's leaves, not dog hair or random boxes or miscellaneous papers, etc. /sigh/ My guys are so messy and unorganized!

Good morning everyone. Somehow it got to be Friday again. I'm not quite sure how that happened, tbh...
Have some goodies...

Somewhere there's not a lot of people and is tropical with good architecture and culture. Which is hard to decide where and my limited geography knowledge (・ε・`*) … 彡★
unfortunately, I don't exactly have a 'me' space right now. This whole household has become like family. So even if I locked myself in my bedroom, there'd be knocking within an hour.
so I hang out in my computer bubble which overlooks the kitchen and I can hear people coming from the other end of the house.
My son passed his belt test. So now he's a yellow belt.
No spectators were allowed, but I could peek and see him hyper-focused on the sensei from out of town.[his teacher's teacher.]
He did amazing until the doors opened and kids could go be picked up by their parents. The room was FULL of parents. He gripped the door and wouldn't let go until I squeezed my pregnant butt through the crowd and grabbed his hand.
I went and bought a flavored coffee this morning. <3 so good.
@Purpsy: Tropical with good architecture... what comes to mind immediately is parts of Mexico, certain parts of South America (Belize, Guatamala), or over in South Asia (Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia) maybe?? I'm curious - why would you choose a place like that to visit if you could??
@Koah: Oh, I sympathize completely with you, hiding out in your little computer bubble!! I hope you can find a more true "you space" soon though!
It's good to have my own space (or something resembling it)... but it means that I have to deal with pollen right now and it's only a matter of time before somebody in the family decides to intrude. I keep trying to define a little "me space" and it's like as soon as I get it to where or how I like it, somebody else decides they want to be there /sigh/
Congrats to your son for passing his belt test! I bet he's excited! :3

I cleaned the kitchen, spotless. And my husband decided the last 2 nights that he needed to cook. =3= I appreciate him cooking... but.. he's not a clean chef. He was nice enough to wipe down the counter where he left spots. But not nice enough to put dishes in the sink or clean up the pots and pans. :T
I know some houses do the "I cook, you do dishes" trade. But, I told him years ago it's not much of a fair trade because he uses 3X the number of dishes/utensils that I do.. and, it doesn't matter who cooks because the kids and I do the dishes 100% of the time.
I downed my coffee/chai and I'm still ready for a dang nap. =3= I got a basic check-up appt today. So I can't lean back and napnap.
Good morning
★彡 @Wildfire: I miss living in a tropical country I'll be honest, since I was born on one then moved here. As for architecture I blame reddit for that (○゚ε゚○)
I joined a reddit thread called architecture porn and now I have high standards lmao. But I was thinking of Europe at first but climate wise, I guess it doesn't fit the idea as much. 彡★
@Koah: Yeah - exactly (the guys cooking / cleaning thing)... even if they clean up, they ALWAYS miss/overlook/ignore several pots/containers and tasks (wiping the stove or the counter, for example). It has been my biggest gripe since ... forever... but they.just.don't.SEE.it. How, I don't know, but they don't, and it annoys the hell out of me.
Same thing with the space... exactly. And once more, they don't seem to see/think/notice that they're bringing a mess in to the space that they enjoyed because it was clean and neat and comfy...
Guys, man... /eyeroll/ XD

@Another Movie Addict: Hey AMA. How are you?
@Purpsy: lol! Yeah, Europe has some amazing history and architecture but it's far from tropical... and the tropical cultures definitely have their own architecture that is amazing. I would LOVE to go tour South Asia for a while... the Philippines, Thailand, etc. ......... but I'd also love to go hang out in Europe for several months too. I would also love to see other parts of the world too, but politics and basic safety just don't make that worth even daydreaming about (of course, the same could be said of parts of Mexico, the Philippines, and even parts of Europe from what I understand).

┤▒├ Hangout with me! ┤▒├
★彡 @Wildfire: Yeah... Politics can hinder visiting some parts of the world. Like as a filipino, Philippines is a great place to visit if you want to visit something tropical surrounded with beautiful nature. But not all parts of the country are like that and you have a high chance of getting robbed. At least that's what I heard from other people. Is been years since I last visit there.
But there are others who will take that chance I guess. Just do some research first before visiting a country can help a bit of that I supposed.
And I'm hungry, my bum hurts for sitting down for awhile... 彡★
I'm great.
