I will be working, as seems to be the norm.
Hopefully I will be able to put up some Halloween decorations as well.

My weekend is me doing nothing but relaxing considering I got my top wisdom teeth pulled on Thursday.
I'm cleaning and drinking tea! My partner is reading A Brief History of Time to me over a video call. All in all a pleasant evening.
@Blue: That sounds really nice <3 What kind of tea?
@Megaame: Relaxing is good. And ouch. That sounds like a lot. How long do you have to rest for?
@Totalanimefan: Well, I have to go back to work Monday so I’m just really gonna be resting over the weekend. Luckily I’m working from home right now so it makes this a little more manageable. I just hate not being able to eat most foods.
@Megaame: When will you be 'normal' again? That sucks that you still have to work on Monday. Nice that it's work from home though.
@Totalanimefan: After about a week it should be mostly healed up, but it's different for everyone. I'm lucky I just work on a computer all day, so I guess it's still kind of relaxing? Sometimes work is so boring I could fall asleep.
@Megaame: what’s your job? I want that one. I work from home right now but I’m being let go at the end of the month. I’m trying to get a lot gone before then.
@Totalanimefan: I work in the insurance field, to be more specific homeowner's insurance. It's a lot of working with banks to make sure portfolios are correct and doing what they ask of us. I'm sorry you're being let go :c that really sucks, especially right now.
@Megaame: yeah it does suck. But maybe I’ll be able to find a job where they care about me more.
@Totalanimefan: Hopefully! It feels like crap to have a job where you're under appreciated. Were you working for a large company? Smaller businesses seem to value their employees more.
@Blue: That's a good one. Jasmine tea is always good! What's your fav?
@Megaame: It was a growing company. Big enough to be on the stock market though. My boss really likes what I'm doing, but my boss's boss I don't know I guess wasn't a fan? She doesn't really know how I do my job so I don't think that she realizes that it's important? Whatever.
@Totalanimefan: It's unfortunate that your boss couldn't talk to their boss to have you stay or maybe try to get her to understand what you do. A lot of companies do really shady things to their employees though.
@Megaame: My boss did talk to her boss. Her boss still said no :(
At first I really wanted to stay, but then I realized that I don't need to be treated that way. I can have a job where they treat me with respect.

@Totalanimefan: It’s nice that your boss tried to stick up for you, but I agree. You deserve to be treated better and valued for what you do!
