Yeah, even if you don't get another item, you can earn the volts for more commons or quest items.
I'm going to keep going for all the lovely items.

the reason i keep spending the smaller amounts as i go is cuz i'm afraid i'll have like 1.5 but then they clear it before i can spend it :-/

Hmm, I don't believe they do.
But it has been a while since I have been around for the end part of an event.
Usually I am at work when it does.
