If you ping me, I'm likely to appear sooner than otherwise - especially when I'm distracted. If we're actively chatting, then obviously that's not necessary. I tend to sort of float on and off throughout the day and it can be easy to lose threads or conversations sometimes. :(
@xvz: cooking - umm... let's see... I made "spaghetti", only healthy! :D It had ground beef, mushrooms, onion, garlic, spinach, olives, riced cauliflower and spaghetti squash. It was yummy :3

Yes, it's definitely possible (and yummy) to do that "spaghetti" with zucchini noodles too, but it's a nice change of pace to use the spaghetti squash. It's one of those meals that it's easy to throw a lot of different things in to - and I usually do! :3

sometimes i avoid pings so that it makes it easier for people to join in group convos? like if ppl feel like oh i can't jump in bc the pings mean it's bn two ppl
but i understand getting the notification means you see the message sooner too

great for like. i need to use up stuff in my fridge before it goes bad lolol
