@junko7: Hello, welcome back. o: You have to gather badges to use on foraging and then you swap foraged items for the event items in the joyful jamboree shop. You can also get two of every forage item from playing vreg’s game which you can get to through the event page.

@junko7: You just need to speak to all the npcs, fish, complete a sliding puzzle, and click on the robot parts in your inventory to put the robot together. I hope you can figure it out~

if it helps at all to explain it in different words -
you can collect badges by posting (you get 1 more badge per post in the event forum) or playing the jigsaw
you can trade the badges for foraged materials (at the top of the page next to the jigsaw, click on the "camp" fire)
and then you can trade foraged materials for event items at the joyful jamboree shop !
if that's too complicated and you don't feel like posting, you could play the jigsaw for badges and trade them in at the end? (hopefully they will make bundles available ~)
there's also a free cat item you should claim while you're here!
