@Amber Lynne: Ahhh, that might be it too. I bought whatever my art classes told us to. Oof, I guess with the cheep ones, quality is based on how much you pay for it. x__x Also, I didn’t know they had flesh colored paint. In my painting classes, they only had us get cadmium red, ultramarine blue, something yellow (can’t remember this one xD), black and white. I remember one of our beginning class work was to make skin color from those colors, and I use the yellow, a dash of red, and A LOT of white. LOL
How’s your painting coming along now? Sorry I vanished, I got sucked into playing Animal Crossing again. )x

Tbh, if my class would’ve let us choose our own colors, and I had known about the premade flesh colors, I would’ve use those instead. It takes waaaaay too much trying to get it right from scratch.
That skin tone does look a bit on the pinker side for Princess Rosalina, but at least it makes her hair stand out. I like how you started coloring her hair. ^^

@Amber Lynne: You could try to add in some yellow since her skin tone is more on the yellow side. But omg, shading yellow IS THE WORST. It gets so muddy fast. T__T Like with Red, you can shade with blue, but if you add blue to yellow, it’s a green mess. If you shade with black, it just looks like a dirty mess. You did good though!
