I think my partner would walk right into traffic if it meant they could pet a dog. We saw a couple of them yesterday and they were so happy because one popped its head out the window of a car for a few pets.

They were both so pleased with themselves.

@totalanimefan: So glad you had fun! What did you do? If you don't mind me asking.

It definitely wasn't easy and I'm still notgreat mentally, but still in a much better place than I was. If I'm being totally honest though, I haven't been super great ever since I graduated school back in 2016. It's just been an overall struggle for years.

As for my babies... I have tons of pictures of them lol. They're pretty much my world. Especially my baby boy, Loki. I'll stick some under some spoilers.

Loki! A playful, hilarious, affectionate (and mischievous, he lives up to his name) fluffy boy who oddly enough loves belly rubs and likes to follow my parents and I (but mainly me) everywhere.

His sister, Sugar Cube! She's a sweetheart, but much more shy and skittish than her brother. She's a bit of a lazy bones but has an adorable kitten-like meow. She also likes to torment my older car for some reason.

And this is Volcano. The old lady who we took in as a stray about 14 years ago now when she was still a baby. She's the most vocal of the bunch but it's normally only when she wants fed. Lol

I'd love to see some photos if your dog and cat if you have any on hand. :)

@Lithinel: I played Community Day in Pokemon Go, then I went to an Asian Market after, it was like a festival one where there was lots of food to buy at the different stalls. Then on Sunday I went to a neighborhood on the water and there was an event centered around dogs. Lots of people brought theirs (mine is too old) and I got to pet lots of cute dogs!
I feel the same way. I'm in a better place than I was in 2020, but am I in a better place than I was 3+ years ago? Idk.
I have some pics. I'll show you them.

Pinto. He's 14 and old with a lot of health problems. Pinto is much more gray now. (Cobalt in the background lol)

Cobalt. He's 6 and is very clingy.

@Totalanimefan: lol - that could definitely be part of it, especially if you do a lot of swimming or something like beach volleyball. But I find that the sun, plus the fresh (salt) air tends to relax me and thus, make me feel more tired, regardless of activity level.
