@Lopsided Oreo: It's amazing to me how many people seem to forget that... or that everyone has their own experiences that influence their perspective on a given topic. A lot of people can't seem to get out of their own heads, imo, so it's refreshing to find others who understand this basic fact of life. :3 <3

i was talking to a therapist and they didn't seem to understand that i can't just put everything aside to focus on oly one thing until its done.
like...
I have to take care of kids, keep the house clean, take care of busses, and parent teacher calls, and meal times, try to get a job, ect.
it was kind of an awful phone call that made me feel worse :/

@Lopsided Oreo: she specifically brought up her kids later in the conversation :[ i'd been ready to give her the benefit of doubt that she didn't understand parenting, until that moment.
and she was specifically "the advice on driving i used to give my kids" ... i'm like.. no... we're hitting a generation gap here lady. you're helpfulness may have just gone out.

welllll. part of the reason i even have a therapist is because my social anxiety is at an all time high, and my ability to cope with things is at a low.i don't like driving, and phone calls make me panic xD i've never been able to find a good therapist and so i've been trying to stick this one out because its obvious she's trying to help. sometimes things just... aren't helpful. she doesn't get something. its hard to explain. but yeah. i with i could find someone that actually helps.
