Life’s been well, actually.. we bought a house and our jobs are going strong. We’re finishing up vacation this week. The only thing that’s hit me hard recently is the passing of a long time friend..
Despite 2020, how have you been?

For me it's been a lot of ups and downs. Lost my temp job just before COVID, I was stuck on home for months without even a job to distract me, but then in July I got the same job back and they just let me go again yesterday.
But in August I moved across the country from CA to DC and I am very happy to be back on the east coast. I miss my friends and I miss my family but I know that others have had it worst. I just try to do the best that I can.

@Artemis: yeah I’m from Florida but then I moved to CA for my husband’s job. Now they say he can work from the east coast. So back we came although it’s DC instead.

I fell asleep before you I think haha. I’m originally from MD but we moved to GA about 10+ years ago and this is where I met my husband.@Artemis: I’m going to bed soon. Will you be on tomorrow?

@Artemis: Yeah I miss the beach too. I wasn't at the beach that often when I lived there, but it was nice to be able to see sunrise there or a place to take your friends and family from out of town. It's a good place to make memories too. I feel like DC isn't too far from a beach but the problem is there are only a few roads to get you to a beach in MD or VA, so it's the traffic that makes it take forever.
@Totalanimefan: I don’t think I remember seeing the sunrise/set there.. but it’s been years haha.
I did meet an online friend at OC! It was sooo nice to get to meet her face to face. I hope we can do it again sometime if my husband and I ever venture up to MD again.
