omg :'( the behavior team reached out to me as a thanks for adopting them and attached a form on how to deal with shy cats. apparently the situation they came from was a hoarding cats craziness, and they weren't treated well. it took a while to get them to come out of their shells, but seeing how they were at the foster home they seem very comfortable.

they're very curious babies and was super interested in everything they saw. the adventure out of my room last night was brief, but it was something! i had treats handy to encourage them, until halo ran under the couch and stayed there for a while. lime just retreated back to the bedroom LMAO...

considering how much they improved already? I can expect by the end of the week.. they still hide whenever a noise is made, or if I stand up/walk so I move very carefully lmao
