@xvz: yes the flatcoloring part. I either do it completely by hand, or if it's a closed line line art, i'll do magic wand + paint bucket, but I still have to go around the edges by hand bc the magic wand selector always leaves 1px edge between the color and the line and it bothers me.

clipping masks are like... the one reason why digital is so great XD

@xvz: security vs privacy is the bane of everyone's existence :3 that's the tldr. but i can think of at least one pathway where didn't know could find me IRL. it definitely wouldn't be easy, but it is possible.

@xvz: uh color in the standard sense means coloring the piece like you would color a coloring book -- fill in the blank spaces between the lines. (which is what i meant, I haven't done any flats or anything yet.)

the spot coloring means that lines near skin is one color, but the lines near the hair is a different color. it's still with a clipping mask.

rip online privacy. i have -many- opinions on that matter, but most of the time, it's when someone you know says too much about themselves and that connection with you ends up revealing too much about yourself XD

@ghost: hmmm not sure. the way i do flats is a pain and hugely time consuming because pixel perfect edges and all that, but once i get to the gradient step, it's pretty easy going

depends. if it's a larger more finished style piece, i mask the line art layer with approach spot colors. but in this case, i just mean coloring the line art in the standard sense
