They are both Warriors of Light and skilled fighters.
Vargas tends to jump into fights while Etienne likes to plan out a strategy first. They are both introverts when in large groups but are chatty when with each other. Vargas is the type to stab first than asks the questions later. Etienne is more gentle and asks the questions first lol. They both do not like any attention on them and tend to lay low.

Vargas doesn't talk much unless he's interested in you. Etienne doesn't like awkward silence so she will find something to talk about whether or not she's interested in you. She is very friendly and warm. Vargas is the opposite. He can be mean and cold and might straight up ignore you.

They are both casters or magic users. Vargas is a Red Mage and uses a rapier and magic crystal to fight his battles. He uses both white magic and black magic in battles. He can cast spells or fight close up with his rapier. Etienne is a Summoner and can summon versions of primals to fight along side her or cast spells. She uses books or tomes to fight her battles. Her spells are mostly offensive spells.
