@SnakeWeaver: on a land nearby is a gathering place for geese during Autumn. There are always hundreds of them, waiting to go south together. There are always a lit of different kinds, but they’re all nasty.
The farmer can’t go on his land during those months because of them.

@Ixora: mine can. They've been eating it since they were tiny baby kitties. Just like my dogs and the oldest of them is nearly 17.
