@Count Trashula: Does it tell you anywhere what the link it blocked was? For me it shows the link that was blocked, so I was able to just click the link from the pop up blocker to get the prize. And there is another way to get the items; you can buy them with pawns from the event shop.

Yep, I just checked the outline from the community discussion, and it says the October 31st thing there

I'm pretty sure originally they said somewhere, maybe in the community discussion, that the event would start late October, as late as October 31st. I think it probably just took them a bit more time than planned to get everything ready in the end
