Why do they keep doing this? How is it even profitable - is it product placement?

When I was visiting my sister in San Diego, I went to the zoo with my mother and she didn't know what she was looking at when she saw the otter. D: They're cute, thick noodles.

Your cat is absolutely beautiful. Maybe she's trying to hide how beautiful she is by being caked in kitty litter. D:

My cat likes to try and wake me up at 5:30 in the morning by hesitantly putting his paw in my mouth.

I looked up 'chinese cough drops' and it's the first one that comes up for me - the brand is called Golden. They're usually near the checkouts in the stores I've been in.

Ryukakusan works for coughs but only as long as it's in your mouth, in my experience. I'd have to ask the person if the Chinese ones I get work for her cough as well.

ETA: She said they help with the cough as well. I can't remember what brand they are; they're in a blue and green striped box.

I'm getting to the point where I probably just need to start saying some people don't know what the hell they're talking about even when they have the same disability I do.

Also I don't understand why it's okay to use misnomers for knit pants like 'sweatpants'. We don't call all pants gauchos, capris, or bellbottoms! I was seen as the difficult one for understanding sweatpants as specifically being fleece-ish lined pants meant for working out in. It feels like it's one of the few things that people don't lose their minds over when they're not using the correct terminology...

devil:

yeah from what i can see and from my experience as well...usually people who announce their mental illness, especially in social media, usually aren't as dire or aren't genuine most of the time.

in my experince when my depression gets the best of me, i rather deal with it myself or seek help from people who are closed to me. seeking attention from strangers regarding my mental illness... eeh. :/ doesn't do anything.

I guess it depends on the kind of people you tend to see in your circles or something; I follow a few people, one of which has a chronic illness (Mitochondrial disease) and they sometimes talk about how it affects their life. I sometimes complain about my Aspergers/autism because I have a lot of issues with what I call The System. I'm super bitter about it and could probably write several pages worth of the stuff I've put up with and am sort of envious that some people have never had to deal with.

I didn't have any luck with Ricola. There's a Chinese brand I buy for a friend that she swears by; it's very strong so she typically only uses it for when her sore throat is VERY bad. I have some Ryukakusan brand ones and they're not bad.

The fact that the word 'admin' is allowed in a username to begin with blows my mind. Most sites would prevent you from signing up with that username for obvious reasons.
