Since when you post , you're at the bottom of the page, I think rather a button that'll take you back to the top, or a button that goes BACK to the forum you are posting in (forum, not thread) would be really handy too.

I think instead of having the thumbnails of the active topics being the original poster, it could be the newest poster? that way if a thread is moving quickly, you can just glance to know if someone replied.

Also I don't know if this is a bug or if it's just not been thought of, but with notifications, I think they should be cleared when you click on them and you're redirected to the quote/mention/whatever. Having to mark them as read everytime is a teensy bit much.
