my therapist always made me say nice things to myself in the mirror every day n even tho i thot it was kind of dumb it rlly started to help how i saw myself
even just saying 3 nice things about myself once a day made a difference

yeah the vertical labret will close fast esp if it is a fresh piercing (9 weeks is still p new in my book)
you might have to go back to the piercer if u want to put a bigger gauge in, but i know you said u don't have any way of getting to the piercer?
