Yeah, I stopped playing Pocket Camp for that reason, too. It's where I learned about SO many villagers, though. It made it easier to start playing NL with my husband.
Hope you can find Punchy! He's a cutie. There's a thread on reddit that frequently has villagers in boxes to take for free, might have luck looking there (NoFeeAC)

@ChiffonOrange: Yeah, the match lengths for FPS and BR are a lot more convenient if you're in a hurry. Been meaning to get Rainbow Six or Apex again for that reason.

Zell's such a cool kid, I wasn't ready. My husband found him while island hopping, but the dude's my best friend now lmfaoooo. Had Wendy (and Vesta tbh) in Pocket Camp, they stuck with me TvT Cherry was in our New Leaf file, she came back to visit us at the campsite on New Horizons, so it felt like fate lol. Bizkit is such a cutie, real good puppy, that one

Oh, funny story with Vic, too! He was a campsite villager, but I was too hungover to recruit him. Found him on a mystery island the next day, though!! Love that grumpy guy. And if you give him hats, he wears a tiny version on top of his viking hat lol

Yeah, Skyrim is part of the Elder Scrolls series! All very good games, been wanting to mod out and mess around on Skyrim again, thanks for reminding me of that lol

I understand being busy. And video games take up soooo much time ;v; It's why I like ESO, I'm used of it and even just wandering around, it's a gorgeous game! MMOs are easy to pick up and only do a couple quests at a time, too

@0v7: Haven't gotten myself to listen to the new album. I liked the older ones so much and from what I've heard (Heat Waves, mainly) they sound so.... Different? A lot more pop, I miss how they sounded on Zaba especially. Gotta let go of prejudice, though. I kight really like it but haven't given it a chance lol. I'll listen soon!!

For ours, we're keeping Bizkit, Drago, Zell, Wendy, Vic, Leonardo, and Cherry! My husband likes Fauna but I've been wanting to switch her to get my Vesta back ❤ lol

@vessel: It's a hard talk to have, but it's better they know the dangers. I know how it is, you don't know you're hooked until you're spiralling. Good on you for keeping tabs on them.

My husband has been studying positive psychology lately. Might be a good first step to look into it, very interesting stuff and it sets a base for working towards self improvement and quality of life.

Of course, you got your own life! It's still incredibly sweet of you to take the time and put in the effort of caring for their situation. Wishing you both the best 🤙

@vessel: Glad you didn't give them bud. Sounds like they're trying to find some way to escape their situation. While weed is a better drug to do that with, it is still a drug. Take it from a stoner, it's better to wait until you can afford it on your own :P

As for the resources, I know there are plenty of online therapy and counselling chat lines, in case they cannot get these irl. I used to use 7 cups of tea, but it's been literal years, not sure how that site it now.
It also helps a ton that they can trust you. Continue to support and talk with them, but don't over exert yourself, either.

Most Zelda games bring me back. Especially Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess (though TP has more recent bad memories attatched, don't think I can bring myself to play it again anytime soon).

Okami and Smash Bros. Brawl on the Wii were some of the games my husband and I bonded over, so it has a special place in my heart

Pokemon, always! I thought Shield was okay, but the gameboy and DS games will always have my heart.

Really miss playing Shadow of the Colossus. Hoping to get it or find my old PS2!

I've been playing Elder Scrolls Online on and off for a few years now. Would love someone to grind out levels, decorate houses, fish and chat, or roleplay with, though!!

Occassionally play Final Fantasy, too. Still very low level in that one, though. Still on the free trial version, ha.

Rodeo just came and took her place, though! Very excited about that, though we have a bunch of Lazy villagers now lol
