@eerie: Does it got hot in Korea during the summer? I remember visiting New Jersey in the summer when I was a kid and I felt like I was melting.
@Anarchist Beauty: I just ended up going to the beach the other day and it was really great. It helped that we had a beach umbrella. All the other times I've just sat in the hot sun so I hated it.

@Anarchist Beauty: Oh wow, the Mojave! I'm in southern California as well, but probably somewhat closer to the beach, maybe an hour's drive away.
@eerie: How did you like the weather compared between countries? Where did you live originally? I didn't know teaching Thailand in English was a thing, but it sounds really cool.

@Anarchist Beauty: I'd travel the world with that sort of notepad. *A*
Do you live far from the beach?

@eerie: Sounds like a dream! Which one has been your favorite country to teach in? I wanted to teach abroad, but never had the confidence to do it. I tried applying for the JET program for Japan but only got waitlisted. ;;

@eerie: Darn, I've heard so much about fast internet speeds in South Korea. LOL. What made you choose South Korea to teach?
@Anarchist Beauty: Yessss! Jumping into a picture looked so fun on Blue's Clues.

@eerie: How long have you been in South Korea? I'd love to go there one day. I want to experience that high quality internet speed.
@Anarchist Beauty: Now that I think about it, there was something really visually satisfying about a giant crayon and paper pad. Maybe it's the earliest thing that got me into art, haha.

@Totalanimefan: Congrats! I hope you guys have a smooth move and COVID-19 doesn't affect you too far out into the future. :)
Living in a city that doesn't require a car is a dream of mine someday.

@eerie: That sounds really cool! How did you get into that? It went well; it was a relatively minor surgery, just for his Achille's tendon.
@Anarchist Beauty: I love that! Watching Steve draw things was one of my favorite parts of Blue's Clues.

@eerie: What do you do for work? My week's been pretty hectic since I've been taking a relative back and forth to doctors/hospitals/whatever for a surgery.

@Totalanimefan: Is it the Katrielle Layton one? I actually have that on my iPad (cheaper and only slightly less bonuses). I still haven't finished solving all the puzzles yet, but it's nice to go back to once in a while. Do you and your husband share the same taste in videogames?
Posted in A handy dandy hangout Posted 4 years ago
@eerie: True, now it looks active. XD
How's your week going?
Posted in A handy dandy hangout Posted 4 years ago
@eerie: Oops, thank you! I have no clue where to start with Hangout threads. ^^; I love your avatar, by the way.

@Totalanimefan: Yes, I played most/all of the games in that series for the DS. There was a Professor Layton x Phoenix Wright DS game which I loved.

Hello, just peeking in and trying to be more active in Hangouts. How are you today?
