Hello All, not that many would remember me as I didnt post as much lately lol. I miss everyone too, this post is the first one in a week so I dont expect anyone to respond right away. I miss the connection we all used to have here! so sad to see the site like this now

I am Mandy Amour on Gaia if anyone is up for chatting. I go on there more often then I come on here unfortunetly because it is a little more active and it had my heart for such a long time lol

I am absolutely obsessed with The Pitt and Doc lately, I could watch them on repeat haha

Yeah, this site hasn't been that active in some time, unfortunately. It used to be a buzzing beehive, I remember that. The blackout and then seemed to be doing okay and then slowly went back down. I think the hardest thing is that most of the community who were invested in avatar sites have grown up, had families, adult jobs and very little time for the things we used to enjoy like this site.. makes me so sad. Now I come on and lurk every now and then to see if anyone is here lol

@Valefor: yeah its a slow process, but I learning..slowly haha. It's even more slow because I work so much and such long hours so I barely have free time for myself xD

@Valefor: it's going alright. I posted two I've done so far, one of my voodoo dolls and one of just a practice. It turned out actually better than I was expecting considering they apparently can be hard to get used too lol. I'll figure it out, and learn as I go. It's a process xD

Yeah I miss the mouse pad cause at least I knew what to expect, now im.learning all over again haha

@MoodyB: that is beautiful! I love it! The highlights are perfect! I haven't been overly motivated either, I don't know why, I love to use the new tablet but I've just been mainly doodling trying to figure it out lol. Nothing spectacular from me. I did do this little pieces I can show you below, nothing fancy lol

@MoodyB: I had this whole week off work, but I'm always so behind of everything cause I work so many long shifts that I still didn't have time to just relax and I go back to work next week xD I swear I need a two week vacation just to get some actual rest in haha

@MoodyB: yeah, maybe true. I'll try something different soon and see if there is a difference lol

@MoodyB: it's an oldie, not even popular, I bought it years ago lol but I know it so I figured I'd use it first to test the waters haha it's called photofiltre studio lol

@MoodyB: does clip studio cost money? If so do they ateast have a trial before buying so I can see if I like it enough to pay for it? Lol maybe it is the program I'm using. But like I said, at the very least it's faster lol for now

@MoodyB: yeah that makes sense, we'll I'll keep playing with it and my brother in law was telling me about a few programs online I can use too as a trial and see how it goes lol. For now I will say that even though there isn't much difference it took me far less time than with the laptop and mouse option lol

@MoodyB: yes, it wouldn't work without it. I was using my same program but honestly the lines are a little more rounded, less choppy. Although for my first one I should expect it looks similar as my hands aren't used to drawing on the tablet yet so I'm still a little shaky. Probably why it's so similar too. We will see. More time and practice will tell haha or maybe a new program 😅
