Those last few are very vague, almost as much as mine ;) An hour away from Amsterdam in which direction.....the sea?!

I did not forget, I chose to omit that fact, but since you asked, I am from Croatia.

Some interesting places so far, I'd have assumed most people around here are from the US though.

I'm curious, and lazy to look if there's another topic like this, so where's everyone from y'all?

@Eruca: And you could have ignored him commenting on you....you see where this is going right? In circles. Just because he commented on something you said does not mean you needed to respond, but you did, and thus engaged in conversation. It is how you initially phrased or understood something that was commented on, as you seemingly chose to disregard one aspect of the DSM, while acknowledging the other. But yeah, action and reaction is the cause here, and if you felt like participating in this discussion regarding you is beneath you in someway or is not related to the topic at hand...you should not have responded?

@Eruca: The op can freely ignore Nigel's advice just as Nigel can freely give his advice...why would he be prevented from doing it just because someone didn't actually ask for it? Any sort of input on a situation such as the op's might be beneficial, or detrimental, depending on what the op chooses to do with said given information.

If a lot of people have problems understanding you, then you should look to yourself for the cause of the misunderstandings, perhaps the way you form your sentences means something different to you than it does to others....I don't know. I just say it as I see it.

Just because you're not directly referring to someone in your comment, does not mean that someone cannot comment on what you said...it is a public forum.

Perhaps see a psychologist or psychiatrist before self diagnosing. Helps a lot. Perhaps you're none of that and just a bit odd like the rest of us:)

@Vii: Honestly I don't believe that he's getting bored of you or anything in that sense....feels to me like a biiiig case of a communication problem in the relationship. You both have needs and wants that do not always intersect, and both seem terrible at communicating to each other when they actually do intersect. Don't think it's anything to be too worried about if that's bothering you, but you should definitely try working on being more open and straightforward about everything, in a non threatening or hostile manner. And try to steer him from being like that too. Communication is key here and I believe this is not too difficult a problem to solve, but it will take a bit of time and effort:) Either way, how could you ever get bored of a person who has an ADHD brain, right?;)
