@LilMissKushy: It reminds me of Mene too. But moreso the good parts of Mene. And will do.

@Totalanimefan: That is good. My luck, though, is the two main ones I'm wanting are some of the really rare ones. But that just means I can build up some volts and/or items to go towards them whenever someone decides to sell them.

And that is good. I can get not wanting to burn the bridge if he's a regular client. Just got to hope you don't wind up working with him again and have a repeat of him not wanting to cover the work you did.

@Totalanimefan: It's quite alright. Got to make sure to eat. I'll have to do that. I know I went through the item museum earlier when creating my quest thread. Holy cow... There's a lot of things I want.

That's good. It sounds a bit like the one place that I do freelance on from time to time.

@Totalanimefan: I saw the crates and orbs. I did not realize they change out when they do. I did donate so I could get the Silent Night set (I'm a sucker for celestial stuff). I'm hoping to be able to donate once a month to get other crates and orbs. And I know what you mean about the commons on other sites. Some places I visited would have ones that just didn't work with what I'd want to dress up as.

That's good that the temp company is handling it for you. Them having your back on this says a lot too. Even if it's so they get their money. Some companies would just write it off.

@Totalanimefan: Well, commons are also a major staple for any good outfit too.

Some people are like that because they seem to think that if they're not doing any work on their end, then surely you haven't done anything to warrant getting paid. Which is a lame way to be. Hopefully he doesn't give you any trouble and just pays you for those hours worked.

@Totalanimefan: Thank you again. Can never have too many volts. Or commons, haha.

Also, I never understood how some folks can think that any and all work done prior to the decision to not move ahead is not billable. Regardless of the outcome, you put the work in. The guy knows this. Was this one of those hourly jobs or a fixed rate? If it's hourly, he definitely should pay up and stop being a butt. I can understand how stressful this is.
