I think the big issue is that everyone just wants to hook up and no one really wants to have just a relationship.
Also a lot of people fail to communicate, and that's just unhealthy in general.
Don't worry about someone going silent either, could be a lot of reasons why so give it a couple days before you give up on that one.

I think AC would be the only reason for me to buy a switch right now, it's why I bought my 3DS and I'm honestly really really hoping for a switch version one day!
