I will never forgive the studio that made the Dorohedoro anime adaptation for this one detail. Never. They refused to make that show 18+ and give it the love it deserved. It's extremely gory and with quite a lot of profanity, it's dark and grimy and the manga makes you FEEL the dirt crawling under your fingernails, but they couldn't make the show that way too because they'd miss out on a lot of viewers (that's what most anime studios think at least but we know every edgy 14 yr old would still watch the show) so they decided to censor a lot of stuff, hide the violence a little, even cut parts out of the story because they were too gross!! But those parts are what made the manga stand out from all the other stuff!!
I love that they did experiment with a lot of 3 models and such, it's very well made and it was a very fun watch, but it's just not the same without the gore and all the painful amount of detail Q Hayashida put in the manga. Too bad it's a pain to collect bc very few stores even sell it and options for manga in general are extremely limited where I'm from

@Stinky: It sounds really interesting!! And the sign in site looks pretty dope too, I'll def play for a while and see how I like it, the amount of colour customization you mentioned is really interesting so I'll be sure to try it out

@MaxIsConfused: I've heard about the everskies community before but I didn't think it was quite that bad! I'll probably check it out because I often times don't really participate in the forum part of virtual sites like these, the only ones I've felt comfortable using are the DV forums because it's very cozy and friendly and this one because it's like the main part of the site

If you're looking for a slightly underground type anime I definitely suggest Golden Kamuy
It's an action/historical/comedy slightly mystery sort of anime set in the Meiji restoration era of japan, after the Ruso-Japanese war where the main character is a veteran trying to get gold in order to pay for an old friend's eye surgery, it's a really heartfelt series and you learn a lot about the indigenous Ainu people and their culture along the way but it also has a lot of comedy in it!
And a lot of naked men. I don't know why Noda likes drawing naked men so damn much. There's also quite a bit of gore if you read the manga, but in the anime it's much much more censored
Also beware of the episode one CGI bear. It's horrid but in a very funny way lol it's sort of a meme in the fandom, but it was done because of a tight budget seeing as it's an anime or manga that's not very well known. The animation most definitely gets better after the first few episodes.

And commentary/video essay youtubers as well: Izzzyzzz, Khadija Mbowe, miiasourous and Tara Mooknee

CAS will forever be the best and worst thing that's happened to me in the sims lol
I am addicted to making sims and shopping for CC, but I always seem to get disinterested really fast! Building is not my forte either, but for some reason I absolutely love to get shells from the gallery and furnish them myself. I think it's real relaxing, most of the work is done because the house is built and all the rooms are set, I just get to decide how they look and I usually pick themes for them such as Witches house or "internet celebrity who hasn't seen the sun in forever" and just fill the house with games and make every room really cool and aesthetic loking
