It is suuuper far lol. A lot of our friends are in the UK tho.
We don't mind the weather luckily~ Guam is always summer or rainy season.

Not sure where in Japan yet, Looking at Sendai, Yokohama, Shibuya or Tokyo.
Kinda considering Tokyo as a last resort, we don't want to live a very busy area, but working there should be fine.

He's french trained but he's also from San Francisco so he loves to cook Mexican food since he loves it there lol
He went to culinary school in San Francisco. A lot of his family lives there as well.
We considered moving to the Bay area but the prices are just way too much.

He cooks a looot of stuff idk what to call some of them lol
He's not too good at Eastern food tho like Chinese/Japanese food.
He's decent with Korean food since he works at a Korean hotel right now.
He's Chinese American but doesn't cook Chinese food often, though when he did it was really good.
He made duck and sticky rice. I think he's too hard on himself sometimes ; u ;

Aww, it took me a while to decide too.
I liked what I did initially but I had sooo much inspiration I just had to try something new.

I appreciate the efforts they put into the remake!
I love how they can better convey expressions and personality for the characters.
I'm going to fall in love with them all over again :vanora_cry:

Yeah but it's alright, I rather we didn't otherwise we might've been stuck.
There's nothing really holding us here, so we're ready whenever it's safe.
Tbh we might end up moving to Japan instead. Guam is not too far from Japan and we have a consulate here.

We wanted to move the the UK to be with friends but also for my Husband's career.
He's a chef, with almost a decade experience so it prob won't be too hard for him to land a job.
We're just hoping to move off on our own, here, we're living with his family.

Yep, I was born and raised here.
My mom is local. My dad was with the navy.

My husband and I were supposed to move to the UK but the pandemic happened right before we were set to move.

We have friends that we wanted to live by or roomie with.

That's basically what I did for my island.
At first it seemed really sad to tear down everything.. but my new design looks so much better.
There were times I was frustrated and not liking how things were going.. but taking a break then coming back to it seemed to help.

One of my friends finished the remake up to where it stops. I believe they were releasing it in an episodic form which is interesting.
The original was already chock full of content, so I'm glad the remake seems to be adding that and more!

Same! I'm currently redecorating my whole island!
It's inspired by the game Okami. So, it's Japanese themed but I sprinkled some video game refs around.

It's not even halfway yet lol
Currently need to move my campsite near the docks then, maybe, I can say halfway done :vanora_xd:

Aww not yet but I really want to! FFVII was one of my first RPGs growing up! I've replayed it a few times but it's been so long.
The Remake looks amazing though! I've been trying to dodge too many scene spoilers, since I wan't to experience it myself.
