I gotta get back into the posting groove now that the event is over with. ._.
I did a dumb today in the City Rack shop. XD

Sorry the last few days have escaped me in terms of chatting--went out of town to visit in-laws, and then it's been event wrap-up today! I hope you all loved the event!

@Kent: We have been tallying as we go, and the winners have been figured out already. Just a matter of notifying--we're getting to it!

@Mica: They are actually chasing each other around the apartment at the moment. XD

@Dowan: It was fine, thanks for asking! We had not seen my in laws since May, so we were overdue for a trip to visit.
I used to RP tons and tons back in my hay days online. Haven't RP'd in over five years though I'd say. I just mostly write prose--working on the novel Jade is wrapped up in at the moment. I'd like to, at the very least, have a copy published for myself!

@Dowan: Sorry for the late response--we just got in from an out of town thing we had with his parents and have been unpacking.
I'm glad my name brought about some sort of, inspiring thoughts? XD I thought it was perfect the length that it was. I miss the days of writing one-shots that were literally a few paragraphs.

Leaderboard time!

Prefacing this by saying some wild cards, especially the ones for the school supplies, went way out of the realm of what Val was looking for. For example, we only wanted stuff that kids would be bringing to school, not things you would regularly find in the classroom.

We loved it. Seriously, it was excellent. XD I only wished that everything was going that swimmingly for the upcoming event. I've got a deadline next weekend and need to be working on it this week for sure once this autumn event is up.
Oh, and older kitty is Pippa! And she is back to normal with Ella. Not hissing or growling, so yay!

I'll say it's a Voltra yearly tradition!

I'll say that our next event will be just around the corner and leave it at that!

@Mica: I'm feeling fine now. Back to work for two days this week, but at least it's almost the end of the week ... sort of!

@Panda: Sounds like my sister -- she's an OR nurse and she has to ask off months in advance with no guarantee she'll even get time off depending on what comes up in the hospital that week. Shame that most jobs these days don't give their employees good benefits. :/

@Panda: We don't get sick hours versus paid time off hours. If we're sick, we have to use our paid time off. It reeeeally sucks.
My dad works at the airlines and gets paid time, vacation, AND sick days. Their benefits are ridiculously good. >_>
