@Rallaa: Ah yeah, I can see how it can give people the wrong idea.
I was talking to the bf about critical roll yesterday, he said his dnd buddies showed it to him but theyre ruining it for him and he doesn't wanna give it another shot. He is having problems with his group right now, beacause the DM want everyone to do voices like critical roll and get super into it, and some people don't want to do it because it makes them feel weird (my bf is one of them). It's caused a few arguments, for whatever reason, I asked why and he shrugged. It's.. weird.

Uhm, the one character I played around with making was for a pathfinder game I believe. I was a Summoner, I had skills and perks related to leveling and powering up my thrall.
And uhm, I guess I've always been into roleplaying and some friends and I made up some games similar to DnD when we were kids/early teens; just didn't know what DnD actually was. I've been text roleplaying on and off for a few years but it gets kind of boring, I figure DnD would be more fun because of the dice and skills/stats.
@Saeyra: Looks like I maybe found one already with Rallaa. Lmao. I guess I was lucky? xD

I'd be interested yeah, if you don't mind helping me out here and there. I tend to try to look up everything I need and question when I don't understand things. ^^;
I dabbled in making a character yeah, I didn't finish doing it though, the person was supposed to help me out with it but never did. I got around to my skills and abilities and stuffs like that though. I didn't allocate any points or what not.

The BF is new to the game too, this is his first campaign, so I don't think he would wanna DM for me. I don't know enough to be able to DM, but maybe I can research so we could just play together. It's a fun little idea, thanks! :O

@Saeyra: Yeah, but I mean, I get it. We live together and he wants some time with his friends on his own, and they wanna spend time away from their SOs with their friends too. It'd be nice if they could do two different games, but they only have one DM who knows what they're doing, I think it might be hard for him to keep track of two at the same time. Hopefully I might be able to join a different game..

Yeah, that's what I did, read up about my character and the characters I was gonna play with. The thing is I can't ever seem to find a game that's actually going to start who would be willing to help me learn. =_= My bf found one irl, but its part of his "guys night" so I can't join in, sigh.
