Jade grabbed the pen and paper and made her list. She'd need hygiene supplies, the normal junk for study sessions, lactose free stuff, coffee. She stopped working on the list and added coffee machine to the mental list. It didn't get added to the online order last night. How did I forget that? Never having been a morning person and working nights at the club created an even larger addiction to caffeine.

Before she knew it they were at the store and Emily had sped off to buy her own things. Jade let out a sigh and wandered through the various aisles, humming some classic rock as she went about collecting all the items from her list as well as some that had slipped her mind.
A lot of fresh vegetables, noodles, chicken and such made it into the basket as well. Jade didn't cook often, not seeing much of a point in cooking for just one person, but perhaps cooking for Emily tonight would be a good way to celebrate their new roommate status. Pad See Ew is on the menu, prepare your taste buds Emily! She thought happily.

Before she'd known it, twenty minutes had passed and having nothing else to buy, save some energy drinks, Jade made her way to the register.
Five minutes thereafter, she was standing outside the store, leaning against the car as she waited for Emily to get done with her shopping as well.

@moodybats: Ah, I see ^^; So you don't like colouring, or need to do it more but dislikes it? Maybe just do them in grayscale? :)

@moodybats: Maybe start with drawing like, fan-art and things you're a fan off? :) Hoping you find that love again.

@totalanimefan: that sounds great! Not only that he got off early (yay more time together) but watching avatar the last airbender on top of that? :D Mostly working, not irl work, but artisan stuff for Caedon has kept me pretty busy ^^ Right now making something yummy to snack on and fixing tea!

"I don't think they'd mind if we used it, if we took care of it" Jade replied as she followed Emily downstairs. She hadn't mean to make the other girl change her mind. The ideas she had were great. The young woman watched as Emily covered the mirror again, this time the ripple seemed more intense somehow. "But it's up to you what you want to do, either way I'm way down for driving into town, god knows I could use a decent cup of coffee. Hell, I'd settle for a cup of coffee period" it was nothing short of a miracle that Jade had been able to go on for this long without her falling flat on her face due to lack of caffeine. Especially given her lack of sleep last night. The two or so hours on the bench did not count she told herself.

"Well, first off, are you allergic to anything?" the girl followed suit and brushed some dust of herself as well, it was clear no one had been walking around the attic for a awhile until the two of them went poking about. "I'm lactose sensitive, so while I can eat and drink dairy products, I'd rather not. Is that okay with you or should we have our own milks and such? We never discussed if we'll share things or not. Also, deathly allergic to pineapple, of all things" Jade grabbed her jacket, patting it down to make sure the cardholder was still in there. Her cellphone was back in her room, being charged. She decided against getting it. Worst case scenario, if there was a work emergency they'd have to solve it without her. Other than work and the occasional salesman, no one ever called.

((Should we do the town/coffeshop scene and then when they get back home and notice strange things for a few days before the "Narnia" bit or fastforward to that day?))
