@creativitea: If it's too confusing, we can easily come up with something else ourselves =) It was an idea, that I can admit I'm not entirely sure would work too well. Lol.
If you want another idea... hmmm, epic fantasy is easy.
Could do something where hell is breakin' the surface. Literally.
Demons, banished souls, etc. They're on the surface and causing problems with everyone that don't even know they are there.
The world wouldn't be here, obviously. Even in an Epic Fantasy, could be that no one realizes that 'heaven' and 'hell' are real, even if they have magic and such. The denizens of the two realms would likely work behind the scenes after all.
I dunno, that's a fledgling of an idea. XD
