Wait, that could be classified as animal cruelty... depending on the conditions they leave him out in and whatnot.
I doubt it is, but if they leave him out there constantly during the winter in all the snow, for example, it could be.

"Ugh." Erica groaned before heading up to her room, now that she didn't have him there to bog her down anymore.
"I really don't trust him." she muttered.
After getting to her room - a path that she had zero issues treading this time - she sat on the bed and called the one person that she knew would be... interested... in hearing this. For whatever reasons.
"Hey Rene." She said as he answered the phone.
"You free for a chat?"

"So Monday." She added.
"And don't worry, I will definitely let you know if there is anything that can be done." She then said with a friendly smile. Internally, she was anything but friendly.
