Ally was silent for a moment before just shaking her head.

"Oh! We should get Liv here." she commented.

"Jax, you like her, right?" She asked, her voice curious.

"I can't leave Levi alone in case someone stole Rebecca, and they come for him. And I don't feel right leaving YOU alone, either." She admitted.

"So pick a place. Here or home?" Ally asked after a few seconds.

"Because no. You need sleep." She added.

"Seriously. I'll make sure you sleep too." followed, and it wasn't an idle threat. He knew she could use her arcane mana to make sure he slept."[/b]

"Hey, you know we'll go out of our way to help." Ally commented before pausing.

"While you do look better, you look dead tired. When's the last time you slept?" She asked, her voice concerned.

"And don't lie. You know I'll know if you do." She added with a chuckle. She could just read him that well. She thought it'd be Levi she'd read that well, but apparently it was her best friend instead.

"I'm good with scrying, but I'm not the only resource." Ally commented.

"Levi here has connections to the dead, for that matter. They can look around, and hopefully find her." She added.

"With that in mind, there's no way she won't be found. It's just going to take more time to find her than you'd ideally like to put out. I know, but we will find her."

Ally was silent for a few seconds before sighing, heavily, when Jax asked his question.

"I can definitely say she's alive." she told him honestly.

"But... unfortunately, that's all I can say. My crystal can't seem to focus on her or anything, and I've never had this happen before." She continued.

"It's... I don't know what to make of it. I'm so sorry."

"That would be lovely." Ally commented.

"However, I don't know. I just... I'm like you. I have a really bad feeling about all this." She admitted after a few seconds.

"Levi, be careful, hey?" She asked, looking over to him.

"I get the feeling that if Rebecca's gone missing.... you might be next."

"My mana makes it easy to scry. It's a natural skill of mine."Ally started before sighing, heavily.

"I have no idea what it is that is going on, and even less of an idea as to what the hell this means." She added.

"If she was dead, I'd be able to find her body. Meaning she's at least alive. But....." She paused, not entirely sure what all it is that she can say for the moment before sighing, heavily, again.

"I ... I don't want to tell him. I can't find her."

After a few, ally just gave up and set the crystal she was using down.

".... I don't think I'm going to be able to even get a read on her." She admitted.

"And that's terrifying. You know I'm good." She added.

"I've... never not been abl eto find someone."

"Globally, first." Ally answered with a heavy sigh.

"Beyond that, I'm not sure." She added. "Depends on if global actually turns up anything." As she spoke, she was making her way over to the coffee table, clearing it and setting up the world map.

"I don't know what it is that will come of all this, but I have to try."

"Yeah. Something tells me something like that would be greatly appreciated." Ally commented.

"You deal with that. Me? I'm going to deal with scrying." She then said as she accepted the materials.

"Thanks." She said to her shadow.

"Oh, hey. One of you two, go let Jax know that if he wants to, he can hop in the shower. I'm not sure if he'd want to, but ... I know somtimes it's a thing."
