Im...absolutely reeling, i was so shocked i couldnt say a thing but like...i went to buy a 4 pack of AA Duracell batteries and that's ZAR 70 (like USD 5)
Teller tries to scan barcode i guess but it doesnt work i guess so she just has this expression of "im absolutely fed up/dying" on her face and grabs the barcode price thing behind her for a cheap brand of 2 pack batteries and scanned that in instead, it was ZAR 15 (USD 1, dying, the exact exchange rate huh) and im just standing there so stunned like ???? all i can do is hand over money and leave coz apparently ????
A far cry from last valentines day when i was walking home and ran backto the chinese food place halfway home coz i realised i forgot to pay
