it's not usually so bad (and what i used to do full-time) when they're nice... but lol when they're not is when it gets to be an issue. thankfully it's all over email -w-

hey miss sunny!
not too bad, though i had to do a lot more customer communication than i normally do. we just started a new feature on our website (i work IT for e-commerce) and our regular customer care team is not great at communicating stuff with technical issues... so that falls on me, haha, but not too bad since most of my day is otherwise spent .. doing very little :vanora_sweat:
a bit more orange or yellow should help! your current avatar is super cute though too

that sucks, i'm always so bummed to hear about people getting treated so poorly at work :( it's been a few months, like, clearly you're not unreliable, sometimes people need a day or two but lol mental health in the US is a nightmare to navigate sometimes

yeah all i do is still basically the same, just email and IM and stuff, and now nobody can come by my desk to bug me lol
a dog day camp sounds awesomeee!! but also stressful. i don't blame you about being nervous; i was gearing up to start looking at new positions but i don't want to take any risks right now ;;

pandemic, but i had the option to sometimes beforehand. i just do basic IT stuff, i manage our internal ticket system so people are like
"hey my thing is broken!!" and i send the ticket off to the team who can do it, or help with the basic troubleshooting
there's a fair bit of downtime if there's not many tickets!
